Function/
Purpose:
Our
Reproductive Health and Wellness program, known as the Family Planning
Clinic, provides quality confidential gynecological
and
contraceptive services to
men and women regardless
of financial
situations. Education and counseling
are provided regarding all
contraceptive choices and family planning issues.
Services
Family
Planning provides access to annual physical screening exams which
can include pap testing , breast health exams, screening tests for
Sexually Transmitted Infections and treatments for infections as
needed, HIV testing, pregnancy testing and counseling with referral
for care as needed, contraceptive products, and referral for other
healthcare services.
Care is
provided by an expert staff of licensed medical professionals
including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives,
Registered Nurses and a very caring support staff who are available
to help answer all your healthcare questions.
Speaker services are available.
Family
Planning services are available to anyone regardless of ability to
pay. All fees are based on a sliding fee scale.
Cost of Services
All service fees are based
on household income. Methods of payment accepted are Medicaid or private insurance, cash,
or check.
No one is denied care due to inability to pay.
Source of Funding
Federal and state
grant monies, fees, donations, local funding programs.
