Program Background
 We
provide a public health response network for assistance in natural
and manmade disasters that occur in Allen County.
Our
Goals:

Strengthen our capacity to respond to natural or manmade
disasters.

Provide guidance in comprehensive disaster planning with
public
health focus.

Develop functional capacity for planning, activities, and
workforce readiness related to disaster response.

Utilize the Health Alert Network (HAN) – a public health
communication system of training and technology linking all key
players in the event of a disaster (e.g., Bio-terrorism
incident.)
