Teen Pregnancy Prevention Task Force
A
Subcommittee of Allen County Healthy People 2010
Mission Statement:
Plan,
coordinate, implement, evaluate and support a comprehensive
adolescent pregnancy prevention program for Allen County students
intended to reduce the incidence of early sexual involvement.
Furthermore, the coalition will increase public awareness, educate
the community about the problem of teen pregnancy, acknowledge
at-risk youth and provide extra-curricular activities for all
youth. The coalition also acts as a resource for all area agencies
and encourages community collaboration.
