Background Information

The purpose of this program is to help individuals traveling abroad stay healthy by administering vaccinations recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for international travel.

You can get more information for your trip at the CDC's website. On their site you can find information about  your destination as well as other health and travel information.

Hepatitis A Recommendations for Close Contacts of Newly Arriving International Adoptees

H1N1 and the Global Situation

Adult and Travel Vaccine Services:  (We are a full travel vaccine clinic.)

  Hepatitis A (adult and pediatric); Ages 1 and older
  Hepatitis B (adult); Ages 19 and older
  Twinrix (Hepatitis A & B); Ages 19 and older
  MMR; Ages 19 and older
  Polio; Ages 19 and older
  Typhoid; Ages 2 and older
  Menactra (meningococcal); Ages 19-55 years of age receive Menactra and adults over 55 at risk receive Menomune
  Varivax (varicella); Ages 19 and older
  Yellow Fever; Ages 9 months and older
  Japanese Encephalitis; Ages 1 and older
  Rabies (pre-event); see link below for additional information
  Gardasil (HPV); Females ages 9-26 years old
  Zostavax (shingles); Ages 60 and older with physicians order

Note: Vaccines should be started at least one month before traveling to provide the best protection.  Some vaccines have a series of three injections.

Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) are available to download.  These sheets explain 1) what the vaccine is, 2) who should receive the vaccine and when, 3) contraindications, and 4) the risks.  Information is available as 1) PDF file, 2) text only, 3) audio, or 4) in other languages.

Also a few of these vaccines are offered for VFC eligible children (Medicaid, no insurance, Alaskan Native, or American Indian). If your child qualifies for the VFC program please click here for more information.

Cost of Services:
All fees are due at the time of service.  Payment accepted with either cash or money order only.  No personal checks accepted.  All Adult Vaccine Clinic services are by appointment only.
