Worksite Wellness Group
The Allen County
Worksite Wellness Group meets four times a year. Any business or
agency in Allen County is invited to attend. However, an RSVP for
each session is requested. Meetings are usually held at the United Way
Conference Room, 616 E. Collett St., Lima, Ohio.

Stroke Awareness
and Prevention
The stroke death rate in Allen County is
higher than the Ohio and national averages. Help your employees
know the signs and symptoms of stroke by acting
FAST.
Workplaces can request a display board on stroke, posters, DVD
video, handouts, and/or schedule an informational presentation from

Healthy Meeting Challenge
Take
the Healthy Meeting Challenge today! With a commitment to
offer healthier snacks, meals, and drinks, and taking stretch breaks
at longer meetings, the health of all can be improved. To add
your agency to the list of sites that offer healthy meetings, just
fill out the
Healthy Meeting Challenge Form. We will send you a
certificate for your meeting room, a copy of the American Cancer
Society's Meeting Well guidebook, and add your name to the
list of participating agencies. Thank you for taking a step to
